Throughout his life, Eli has faced challenges that have shaped him into a compassionate and hardworking young man. Inspired by his father’s courageous battle with a brain tumor, Eli has developed a deep appreciation for perseverance, family, and personal growth. As a member of the Fort Wayne Spacemen, he has earned the respect of teammates and coaches through his leadership, work ethic, and commitment to others. A respected member of the Metro Jets organization, Jack approaches every day with a commitment to improvement and a genuine desire to help his teammates succeed. Known for his humility, professionalism, and strong work ethic, he consistently leads by example. Jace Lacey was selected as a #PlayLikeBray recipient for his exceptional leadership, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to his teammates. As captain during the 2025–2026 season, Jace consistently led by example, putting others before himself and demonstrating a level of maturity beyond his years. His character, humility, and genuine care for those around him reflect many of the qualities that made Braydin so special. Jake Taylor was selected as a #PlayLikeBray recipient for his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence. A member of the Metro Jets program for four seasons and captain during the 2025–2026 season, Jake has consistently led by example both on and off the ice. While he is recognized as a talented, high-producing defenseman, he is equally respected for his humility, professionalism, and positive influence within the organization. Jake’s character, work ethic, and desire to help others embody the values of leadership, perseverance, and integrity at the heart of the #PlayLikeBray mission.

Mikhail "Misha" Gorbunov

Mikhail “Misha” Gorbunov was selected as a #PlayLikeBray recipient for his incredible work ethic, determination, and positive attitude. Originally from Russia, Misha joined the team from the Decatur Blaze and quickly earned the respect of coaches and teammates through his relentless effort both on and off the ice. Despite being one of the smallest players on the team, he competes with heart, dedication, and resilience every day. His strong character, sense of humor, and commitment to constant improvement reflect the spirit and perseverance that define the #PlayLikeBray mission.
